Academic Department: Applied Technology

Students in this one-year program learn the theory and become proficient in the skills necessary to assume jobs as air conditioning, refrigeration and heating mechanics. They take at least two hands-on laboratory courses in their specialty each semester.

All credits earned in this certificate program are applicable towards the Associate in Applied Arts and Sciences in Air Conditioning, Refrigeration and Heating Technology. The following scheme is presented as a guide only. Courses may be taken in any order, as long as all requirements (including prerequisites) are met.
